Floating Market & Elephant Ride & Fishing Village
Visiting: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Elephant Camp and fishing village
Duration: 9 hours
This fascinating day trip combines a visit to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market with an elephant ride through the lush surrounds, before traveling to a local village where you have the opportunity to meet and interact with local Thai fishermen.
After picking you up from your port of call in our air-conditioned minivan, we will head 100km west of Bangkok to Ratchaburi province. The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is one of Thailand’s most famous, and the best way to experience this market is from the water. You can enjoy a boat cruise along its waterways to take in the vibrant sights, sounds and smells, with incredible photographic opportunities available.
We will then head to a nearby Elephant Camp where you have the chance to ride these gentle giants, before visiting a local fishing village to feast on freshly caught seafood. Here you can chat with the Thai fishermen and explore the authentic village atmosphere, before a leisurely drive back to your Bangkok port of call.
NOTE: This tour is only possible for cruise passengers staying in the port for at least for one night. If your ship docks at Leam Chabang, please note that it takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours one way between the port and central Bangkok.
